Full Day Tour - 6hrs

  • Our 'Full Day at the Beach' tour, led by our knowledgeable Captain, promises a customized seaside escape.

    This is especially lovely for families and friends who want to experience the quieter shores of N. Captiva and Cayo Costa, offering a tranquil retreat where you might have the entire beach to yourself.

    Beach Essentials Provided: No need to lug around heavy gear - we've got you covered with an umbrella, two chairs, and a handy cooler for your beachside comfort so you can bring the drinks and picnic of your choice.

  • Kick-off at 10:00 am with a set to return time of 4 pm, visiting destinations of your choice, be it pristine beaches or waterfront dining.

  • $600 (regardless of passenger count) for six hours. Fuel is included with this amount. $100 for each additional hour requested. Ice and waters will be provided.

Half Day Tour - 4hrs

  • There are over 10 restaurants on the water you can choose from to experience a dining in some of the best restaurants of SWFL!

    Some locations require a longer charter period. Please reach out to us and we can easily assist in making reservations before departure to reduce waiting time. See the map below for different ideas/locations to explore.

  • $400 + $100 for each additional hour requested. Ice and water will be provided.

Sunset and Canal Tours

  • A relaxing cruise to see the sunset over the Gulf of Mexico.

    Every sunset is a different scenic painting around here - you won't be disappointed.

    The charter takes approximately 40 minutes to get to the location, 40 minutes at anchor, 40 minutes for the return trip completed by twilight.

  • Did you know that Cape Coral has over 400 miles of canals? The most in the world!

    Explore the beauty Cape Coral has to offer is this canal cruise where your captain will take you to see the most beautiful waterfront real estate property and show you a side of the city only locals know!‍

  • $300 for 2hrs. $100 each additional hour

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are located in SW Cape Coral and we will pick up your party at Tarpon Point Marina. There is parking, a ships store for anything you might have forgotten, and restrooms.We will provide directions upon request. Google Maps will get your there perfectly.

  • Bring a hat, shirt, sunblock(no aerosol sunscreen please), sunglasses, and a beach towel.

    Food/snacks in ziplock bags.Drinks, plenty of liquids (Gatorade, Powerade, sodas, etc.)Lunch or snacks. Beverages are welcome but no liquor, red wine, or glass containers.

    Ask about bringing your cooler(size and design dependent). A 65L YETI cooler on board will be provided with ice and water bottles.

    Water shoes or sandals. Camera and binoculars, and maybe a waterproof pouch for your cellphones.

    Light jacket, sweatshirt or long sleeve shirt (if weather conditions dictate).

  • No illegal drugs of any kind. Please do not put the captain at risk. No Aerosol sunscreen on the boat. This stuff goes everywhere and makes the decks slippery. It is also not nearly as effective as a good high-SPF lotion.

  • Boats are inherently wet; We highly recommend bringing a waterproof dry bag for items that you wish to keep from getting wet and staying secure. We recommend not bringing any unnecessary items.

    Broken Compass Charters LLC shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, expense, damage, or inconvenience that results directly or indirectly from any act or failure to act whether negligent or otherwise relating to any activity offered by Broken Compass Charters LLC.

  • Passengers under the age of 13 are required to wear a life vest while on board/underway.

    The charter can provide up to two vests for adolescents. Children under 3 years of age must bring their life jackets.

  • Sorry, no pets are not allowed on our tours, and fishing is not permitted either.

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to request a cancellation and refund. ‍We reserve the right to cancel the tour at any time due to weather, mechanical, or client behavioral issues.

    If your tour is canceled, you will be given a raincheck, re-book, or refund (excluding behavioral and other alcohol-related issues).

  • Online payment with Square, Venmo, or PayPal. Payment in advance secures your reservation. Please use the BOOK NOW button at the top of the website.

    A liability waiver will be provided for electronic signature to the client just before the charter begins.

  • Yes, there is…. for urgent calls of nature. The captain will provide ample notification before any departure so you can plan your restroom break.

  • No, I am sorry but our tours require you to be mobile. If you are considering a beach trip, you will need to be able to get on and off the boat assisted using a swim ladder. You will need to walk in roughly waist to thigh knee-deep water to reach the beach. Please come prepared to get wet.

    This is a moderately active tour so if you have any limitations, please let us know ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate your needs. All ages are welcome!
